While researching the KXL history, stumbled upon this historic radio meeting of the forming of The Oregon Association of Broadcasters. The writer of the article is a little sexist. But these were different times:

Broadcasters Form Group

Oregon Radiomen Meet In Portland

Representatives from 14 out of Oregon's 18 radio stations, meeting at the Multnomah Hotel Friday, formed the Oregon Association of Broadcasters. W. Carey Jennings, Manager of KGW-KEX; George Kincaid of station KFJI, Klamath Falls, and Frank H. Loggan of station KBND, Bend were appointed by Lee Bishop, Chairman, to draw up plans for future activities of the newly-formed association.

Harry Spence of station KXRO Aberdeen, Wash., told the radio men in his talk, "What The Independent Station May Expect from The National Association of Broadcasters", that the independent station would be lost without the N.A.B. He explained that the large station employs a staff to solve its problems, whereas the small station, sometimes run by only one man, must rely on help from the national group.

"Selling Women On The Air" was explained by Marie Hornbeck, Director of Woman's Activites on The Oregonian, and Judge John C. Kendall discussed "Music and Radio Copyrights."

It means "politically correct" unless the poster was so impressed with your rapidfire mind that he was going for "personal computer". :-) It wasn't sexist, per se. That's just the way things were.

Just to make it crystal clear, the extra charges apply when you rent an undercover cop.
