I think Cumulus should simulcast all of their Eugene properties as country. "WALL TO WALL COUNTRY" 58 music minutes every hour guaranteed, or we pay you ten dollars. Eugene can support 2 country stations, but with Culumus originally Killed and Ruined Cat Country 98 and 95.3 The Bull. I don't think they'll be a good cadidate for Country.

I don't see Cumulus launching another Country format in Eugene. They will probably keep "Star 102.3" around, until 97.9 moves to Portland, and then 102.3 could be become KNRQ.

Bicoastal could eventually move 99.9 KRKT to the KDUK/KFLY tower, to become Eugene's second Country station.

The chances are good, unless Bicoastal management is completely clueless. KRKT could bring in more revenue as a Eugene station, which would still cover Albany/Corvallis.
