Yes, in fact there could be twelve! I think Cumulus should simulcast all of their Eugene properties as country. "WALL TO WALL COUNTRY" 58 music minutes every hour guaranteed, or we pay you ten dollars. If you catch us playing less than 58 minutes be the 12th caller and leave a message. On friday afternoon someone will come in and check the phone messages then look at the printed log. if we verify that there was less the 58 minutes of music we will send you ten country bux, good toward any product listed in our on line store.... Continious country with no annoying jox, just cute sweepers every two songs telling you that you are listening to continious country with no annoying jox Let's try it and then get the other groups to jump the countrycast pool as well.

Eugene can support 2 country stations, but with Culumus originally Killed and Ruined Cat Country 98 and 95.3 The Bull. I don't think they'll be a good cadidate for Country.

I don't see Cumulus launching another Country format in Eugene. They will probably keep "Star 102.3" around, until 97.9 moves to Portland, and then 102.3 could be become KNRQ. Bicoastal could eventually move 99.9 KRKT to the KDUK/KFLY tower, to become Eugene's second Country station.

Yes I believe there is. What are the chance of KRKT Moving to the KDUK/KFLY tower ? I think was talked about several years ago.

The chances are good, unless Bicoastal management is completely clueless. KRKT could bring in more revenue as a Eugene station, which would still cover Albany/Corvallis.
