Well, seems like changes are occurring. Just heard Scott Tom kick off the mid-day shift on Khits this morning. Think he's live, too! Be interesting to see what else is to follow today.

They replaced the geeky "Wonder Years" voice guy with jingles! We should be celebrating.

Sottt Tom Live???? Yeah Right! This is Cheap Channel We're talking about. My guess is they will have Scott Tom Voice Track a 10 hour air shift every day!

I will cut off my left Pinky if Cheap Channel puts live bodies on 1059, and the key word is "LIVE"

Like the jingles, still would be a gas to hear a re-sing of a "Drake AA" or a "TM You" Top of the Hour ID and ID the station for real "...KLTH Lake Oswego ... Portland." Could do without the '80s stuff, altho' most of the time the past couple days I can draw an arc between a "current" oldie and an artist's old oldie. Still, somehow, Huey Lewis does not belong in the oldies format that plays in my head. It seems that the new khits may not be inclined to go as deep into the library as the old khits, and that still wasn't deep enough. Will be interesting to see if they keep "AT-40 the 70s."

It seems to me that the "new" K-Hits is playing quite a few "soft" songs.
