This from King5.com:

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Federal Communications Commission officials and deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's gang unit busted a pirate radio station they say was reportedly broadcasting information on where to buy drugs.

Authorities say the "Street Heat" broadcast included live advertisements for criminal gangs and discussions of where to buy drugs and find prostitutes.

Balthazard Senat and Christopher Robert Roth were arrested Friday and charged with unauthorized transmission and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. Officials say Roth was a DJ for the radio station.

A spokeswoman for the sheriff's office and a person answering the phone at the Orange County Corrections Department had no information on whether the men had retained attorneys.

Or perhaps they'd rather be one of the "Pirates who don't do Anything!"

"My wife and I lived there for the first 13 months we were married and I hated it."
That's nice. Sorry to hear that.
And I have friends, some that have lived there their whole life and others that have moved there after living here, and they all love it there.
Depends on what you like and want.

Take any area and you will find some that love it and some that hate it.

That's why there are many places to live in the country. Choose one that fits what you like. It doesn't make a place good or bad.

(Sarcasm keyborad engaged)Jeez, thanks for the philosophy of life lesson Jimbo. My day wouldn't have been complete without it.(Sarcasm keyboard disengaged)

Orlando:
The weather sucks. (Too hot and humid too much of the year)

City/county leadership that values tourists more than their own citizenry. Example: In 2005(or was it 2006?) When the city was nearing a record for most murders in one year, the Mayor stated(outloud, for everyone to hear): "Most of the murders have been downtown and not out near the attractions."

One day, same jackass chased me the length of the 408 because he thought I cut him off in traffic. That same week, two other people tried to run me off other roadways. That has never happened anywhere else like it did in whOrlando.

Outside of our church family, no one seems to give a damn about anyone else.

There is no sense of community in Orlando. It's every man, woman and child for themselves.

Actually, I prefer Tampa area over Orlando. Orlando used to be a lot nicer 30 years ago. Brandon-Lakeland-Winterhaven.
Humidity doesn't bother me. Heat doesn't bother me as much as cold does. Depends on what you are doing. I'll agree about some driving habits of locals and snowbirds. It's not perfect there. Isn't anywhere. Even the dry clime of Phoenix isn't as dry as it was 30 years ago. More humid now. There are nice parts of Florida and there are not so nice parts.

I would agree with you, Outsider, if I had experienced the same things as you did. I haven't to that extent there. I have other places in this country. There are places I have no desire to go back to for various reasons. But some people must like it there. Same with other places in the world. There are some cities that people love to go to that I have no desire to return there. There are places I have been to several times and would go back. Capetown South Africa is one. Anywhere in Australia is fine. I have been to some real bad spots in India and some not bad spots there. Same in Israel. And yes, I have been to those places and more. You get around when you work in International Sales.
