When I read the title of this thread I thought they'd probably applied for a power increase when KOIN vacates channel 6. |

I doubt that there will be much opportunity for power increases of the Portland NCE stations when ch 6 leaves the air. The power restrictions that have been in effect because of ch 6, have allowed out-of town stations to define coverage areas that, for the most part would make power increases of the Portland stations difficult. |
