For Ibiquity DAB to be deemed "officially unfit for use on mediumwave" and thus barred from broadcast use in the USA.
Hey, if they could do it to Kahn's AM Stereo system (which, as I understand, was far less destructive) they surely could do it to Ibiquity's system.........

If Ibiquity's system were to be deemed unfit for mediumwave, I am sure that 62kgw would throw a party, and I would bring the beer!!
As far as off-the wall wishes go:
+ 1130 signs on with an interesting format
+ The lousy economy prompts Bustos to start selling off its Portland stations.
+ 1150 flips to a Real Oldies format with spinning poodle skirts and Elvis
+ The KCMD CBS Radio Theater gains a sizable cult following
+ 1520 gets sold to some crazy guy with a lot of money who tries to turn it into the Portland version of KGO
+ Any station in the greater Portland area decides to give AM Stereo another try
+ 1010 gets donated to one of the cable access facilities in town
+ 1230 gets donated to a university
+ 105.9 gives up on aging Baby Boomers, re-adjusting its format to 80s and Disco!!

Kahn was too late to the party. When the FCC asked for potential players for a digital system, Kahn was nowhere to be found. Only after Ibiquity was chosen, did Cam-D enter the picture.
