I just wanted to say Thank You to those who have served, those currently in service, and those yet to serve this great nation, to keep it safe, and to insure our freedom.

THANK YOU!!! Your service to our nation is truly appreciated and shall never be forgotten.

We said and gaveup an applause tribute to the half dozen or so vets in our "soup" line this evening before our meal served under Old Glory purched on top of my temporary light pole over serving tables.

I called my dad. WWII vet. He doesn't like to talk about it much since he was invited by Uncle Sam instead volunteering. He went in as an 18 yr. old teenager, came out a very different man.

However while standing guard one starlight night in Germany around 2am he decided that his first son's name would be Chris.
