I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet! It was on at least in time for John Tesh. While typing this, I hear a promo about a "Christmas Sampler Weekend" so I guess they aren't into it "full swing" just yet. |

National is different then the local shows eh-oh... I agree a full package would be ideal in radio and entertainment 1-2-3-ann-4 but personaly I heard a local sweeper a week before the Halloween treats where given out... I will say too all Early Christmas stations, not in "Christmas" events in town promotion department/web wise but audio wise... Please make it feel like Christmas and the package you make for Jan 1st an event with thanksgiving and corps ideals: LOVE THE WORKS and Lots of Christmas Hugs... |

When I was in high school, some friends and I used to play a little "game" in the computer lab (if you can logically call it a game) wherein we'd feed a passage of text into a search engine's translator function--the "latest thing" at that time--and translate it into at least two foreign languages before telling it to translate back to English, trying to obtain the weirdest translation we gould get. My personal favourite programme for this was Alta-Vista's "Babel Fish" programme.
and use the combination English to Dutch Dutch to French French to English in that order, it yields the following passage as its output~
Methinx that's what JR must be doing..... ;o) |

Inact a law that says Christmas music should be from the 22nd of Dec. to midnight Dec. 25th. It's really grating after the last 4 years hearing the same 10 songs remade by 200 different people. UGH! |

Maybe a lot of people don't like it, but a lot of people tune in, hence the reason so many stations do Xmas formats. I say if you don't like it, don't tune in. Personally, I think that's what HD and online channels are for. The main channels shouldn't be used for this kind of thing. |

It appears that K103 is playing continuous Christmas music every weekend until they go to it fulltime around Thanksgiving. They apparently consider Friday to be part of the weekend. |

When was the last time you heard the Australian Christmas song by Rolf Harris called "Six White Boomers"? This 1963 version was the most popular when it was released on Epic Records. The original recording from 1961 on 20th Fox Records featured a concertina instead of the horns which you hear. |
