As of 5PM Tue, Oregon voter turn-out has ALREADY hit 72%!!!! That's frickin' amazing. That's good. In all reality, it should be as close to 100% as possible. With mail in ballots, there is NO EXCUSE for not voting!

Some Oregonians apparently do not realize that Oregon votes only by mail now. On my website, I have a page that mentions Oregon voting, and in the last 24 hours I have had people finding my page by googling for "Portland polling locations" or "Portland polling stations." Uh, it's a little late to be looking for your "polling place" since there are none here any longer... I expect some of those people will make up group that does not vote in this election. Andrew

I was at the Washington county election center. Plenty of people in line, bring told they had to register to vote, and that the deadline has passed. The rest were either drop-offs, or people needing a ballot for some reason. The election people were great! Smiles on their faces, working hard, happy to see lots of people voting. This is their time and they are enjoying it.
