How incredibly sad that she did not make it to see Barack be elected president. How sad for the Obama family.

Madelyn Dunham is finally at peace after a long painful illness, but it is tragic that she did not live to see the outcome of the election. "Toot" was a dynamic woman that both Michelle and Barack described with reverence and gratitude. My prayers are with their extended family. This has been a very sad day for the Obama campaign.

Good thing he got a chance to see her before she died.

What a shame and a loss, the only upside to this whole thing is that she didn't have to see Obama Lose to John Mccain.

Cronin said Dunham's absentee ballot was received on October 27 and found to meet the requirements of a valid absentee ballot and will therefore be counted with the rest of the state's ballots tomorrow."
