I can't remember his exact words, BUT during the debates when the question was asked to Obama what he would do in the event that a terrorist attack happend on US SOil, obama replied that "He would go to THE UN".

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????

How about going out, FINDING the S.O.B. and KILLING HIM!
Another reason why I PRAY TO GOD EACH NIGHT THAT JOHN MCCAIN becomes the next president.

Any President will learn fast ( hopefully ) that the UN isnt even the' see all' 'end all'. At least not yet.

Unilateral action will be required in some circumstances.

NOPE, you can't make those kind of mistakes, especially when a terrorist is running wild.

You hunt the SOB down and you kill him. BUT according to Obama he would go to the UN.
That statement Scares the living shit out of me!
Another reason why Obama should NOT be president.

Because what would happen if he went to the UN? Specifically. Spell it out.

And, just to be clear, do you honestly think that Obama would not try to find " wild running terrorist "?

I'm just asking a simple question Beano.

If I could find a quote in which he said he would find and punish someone who is responsible for an attack on US soil, would that make any difference to you?

Obviously you are just desperate and grabbing at something, anything, and hope that it will stick.

Fortunately, I do not have the same fear as you. On many levels, I do not.

So pick any question and we'll take it from there. Fair enough?

Well, maybe you should actually dig up the "exact words" and context instead of making stuff up?

Remember, Obama has already said that if as president he was told we had good intelligence that al Qaeda was preparing to attack us from Pakistan and Pakistan wouldn't act that he would order US forces to attack them in Pakistan. But now you expect us to believe he would be too timid to act without the UN after an attack?

Please, when you make stuff up about Obama, try to make it more plausible if you wish to be believed.

Andrew

Or Obama hiding in a flying 747 leaving Palin in control.

Hey, wait a minute, right there is the real reason to vote Obama.

If you wanted to know where Barack Obama stands on terrorism and global conflict, you have had many chances to learn his positions and strategies. Since you obviously missed all of this the first time, here are a few simple places to start:

Senator Barack Obama addressed the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars on August 1, 2007 and focused on the threat of terrorism. He gave a speech entitled, "The War We Must Win" and a transcript is available from the Council on Foreign Relations.

A year later, Senator Obama returned to the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars to discuss foreign policy. He delivered a talk called, "A New Strategy for a New World" on July 15, 2008. A transcript is also available from the Council on Foreign Relations.

If you have other questions, the Obama website has in-depth answers available about Homeland Security, Defense, Foreign Policy, Iraq and Veterans and many other issues. The C-Span video library is another great place to find more information.

I'm "touchy-feely" and damn proud of it.

Too bad people like you aren't. Your team of hard-hearted, purse-lipped, tight-sphinctered old men and Palin sorely needs a bit of that right now, but all I can picture is agitated porcupines. Impossible to embrace.

This is "touchy feely" and it actually made me teary. I hope we soon have 4 years to see more wonderful moments like these:

Dono, I am pretty sure that you are right. From what I have read, Jesus and Joe the Daddy both thought there was something about Mary. Mrs. Merkin, that is a good cross section of the leaders of tomorrow. We are descending into a mush fest. Awwwww. How sweet. :-)

Obama will be tough on terrorism. He will rebuild relationships among our allies. With real diplomacy, the world can share intelligence and prevent strikes through cooperation. It will take a united effort to keep people safe from rogue nations, loose nukes and terrorists.

Beano: This isn't 2004 buddy. Terrorism is not even in the top 20 when it comes to issues the US faces in 2008. I hope you're ready for the reality of a President Obama, because McCain is going to get smoked on Tuesday.

The UN isn't the answer but look what happened when DUHbya and Co. went to hunt Osama down... We're still looking for the asshole and DUHbya has no GD idea where he is.... Alot of good hunting him down did....
The UN has it's place but Obama said that he wants to look for Osama in Pakistan WITHOUT the UNs help. DUHbya and McSame don't even have him on their radar. That's fucked up!

Yep. Somewhere OTHER than in the US would be fine with me.

Like maybe Russia or Iran.

Let some other suckers support them.
