Here's a suggestion of what not to post on a radio station website:

A Surrey lawyer is suing CKNW for defamation over a photograph of the lawyer that was posted on the radio station's website below a story about a man found guilty of sexually exploiting a 16-year-old girl.

In a statement of claim filed in B.C. Supreme Court, Marvin Stern says he had no connection with the story and the plaintiffs acted recklessly and without regard to the consequences in publishing his picture.

He says the placement of the photo wrongly implied that he was the person, a naturopathic doctor, who was found guilty of sexually exploiting the girl.

Oh for Pete's sake ! I wonder who does their web site management? Or should I be asking " Who USED to do their website management" ?

So, the Canadians are getting sue-happy, too? Did this guy try calling the radio station first and explaining that he was concerned that the page layout might give readers the wrong idea?

If you are gonna libel somebody, it is probably best not to libel a lawyer. That move ranks up there with sideswiping a police car and setting a blaze in a dumpster behind the fire station.

Maybe their website editor can get a job with The Onion.
