The following aircheck will probably be of interest mainly to past Eugene radio listeners. It is a humorous Eugene version of War of the Worlds that aired on KPNW on October 31, 1981.

The cast includes Paul Orchard, Radio Ray, Alva Taylor, Joe Miani, Dan Shankle, Bruce McKay, Mike Guldager, Lee Chabre, Dennis Dolan, Lee Gordon and Bob Clarke and Ray Carnay. It was written and produced by "Radio" Ray Pietz. Clarke Moore is the intro and outro announcer.

I was in High School and I remember that very much. I liked the old KPNW, Lee Gordon & Mike G, with the First Cuppers club, that was before Ray carnay got arrested.
