"McCain has lost his mind!" -- Chevy Chase

Chevy is right. So, just for fun, I think that a depository of gaffes, cock-ups, pissy moments and his legislative record is just what we need to track John losing his mind.

Today's winners so far:

John gets lost on a big scary stage.

In 2001, John McCain was the first to utter the biggest and deadliest lie of all: 9/11 = Iraq. Flashback: He beat speedy Dick Cheney by two weeks.

Vet Voice has compiled a comprehensive look at McCain's miserable record with America's Troops and Veterans.

Even though the Des Moines Register endorsed him in the primaries, Iowa makes McCain very surly indeed. Discussing the bailout bill, he said, "If I were dictator -- which I've always aspired to be -- I would write it differently." He was pretty steamed through the whole interview.
