if you read the whole story. you will see that hamiatate for humminity was involved too. and that they were aginst the more riskier types of loans and that it disbanded in around 2005. just before the real bad stuff started to happen. It appers that just about everyone in D.C. had there fingers in the cookie jar. both GOP and dems.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we all could run up huge debt, call the government to bail us out all the while collecting a handsome salary and bonuses for screwing up so badly. I think I’m in the wrong line of work.
