They are not muzzled, infact they are now on for an extra hour!
Dr. Doug and Skippy, have been on from 5-9 am weekdays. Now they are on tell ten, except at 9am, they are taking requests and doing an all request show.

I have a couple requests... Since I'm not listening after my clock-radio alarm cuts out at 7:25, I'll post them here.
1) Charlie claims "We play EVERYTHING", yet I haven't heard one pre-rock-n-roll-era song YET. How 'bout some Benny Goodman? huh? huh?
2) Failing that, Charlie (and you will), how 'bout if you at least STOP playing songs WAY TOO FAST??? Did Alvin & The Chipmunks take over your station??
I'd never even know about this station if the sports-talk shows they play at this time of the morning weren't so brutal, or the all-classical station didn't insist on playing soft string quartets when I need to wake up, or the jazz station didn't play the awful, dissonant post-big-band-era crap they do...
Maybe it's time I bought a CD alarm clock or something...

I've been enjoying the station the last coupla three weeks!
Turns out it's kind of nice to just leave it on for a while and listen to some stuff. Kind of resets the music rut, if I'm in one.

Could be! Not sure, which is exactly why I wrote "coupla three". The varied interpretations of that ideally model my inability to nail down just when I started enjoying the station!
It's less than honest to use language that exhibits a high degree of precision when trying to express something that's rather muddy.
