This guy was a sorry leader for the city for many years and glad justice caught up with him...sentence was not long enough.

I hope you feel the same about Sarah Palin when it's found out she did the same thing as Kilpatrick.

day and night, apples and oranges, good and bad...can't even compare people/situations. A little wishful thinking going on here? Even after last night you still think she won't last?

I still think the corruption thing in Alaska will boot her from the ticket before the election. Don't get me wrong though, I want her to stick around. She's a lightweight and she's divisive, which will help my guy win.

I couldn't stand to listen to her voice. She was whiney and talked too slow, like we were children. I had a headache afterwards.

Back to the Motor City. Just another nail in the coffin for this tragic city. Detroit was once the 4th largest city in the country with 1.8 million, now just a shell of itself with half that many people. This is the city that invented "white flight" in the 1950's, and it hasn't ceased. Today's automotive climate is only getting worse. My father taught school in Detroit once upon a time, and my family debated whether to stay or come west. Glad they did.

"I couldn't stand to listen to her voice. She was whiney and talked too slow, like we were children." Funny. That's exactly how I felt after Hillary's speeches.

MC: What's worse, a Mayor lying about an affair he had under oath, or a Governor firing someone because they refused to fire her brother in law who had a beef with the governor's sister? Which is more an abuse of power?

You want to talk about the Governor firing someone because they refused to fire her brother in law who had a beef with the governor's sister then create the topic and talk about it there. This topic isnt about that.

I like the part where the topic gets hijacked to avoid TALKING about the corrupt DEMOCRAT! We need 300 threads to talk about the Republicans on this subject.

then create 300 threads. Nothing is stopping you. Corruption in politics is bad on both sides, if what she did is true then she should be held accountable for it. Now back to the topic at hand.

You've been a bad man Mr. Mayor. To jail you go. Oh, you're a Democrat? Well then, here's a "get out of jail free" card from a Monopoly board game. Its the best I can do.

That guy seems like kind of a dick. Nothing redeeming for me. Asshole. I love it when pricks like this get fried and are forced to say that they lied, out loud. LOVE it. How's that MC? Fair and Balanced enough for ya? And I didn't say that just to somehow cover a base or to make you happy; I actually feel that way. Next asshole, please. ( Not you MC. I mean "next hypocrite." ) In fact, would you like to pile on any Republicans right now, MC? Come on. It's fun!

I love it when pricks like this get fried and are forced to say that they lied, out loud. Amen, Chickenjuggler. I guess we ought to belabor our answers and flesh them out a bit. I would hate to have anyone feel picked on for all the skeletons in the closet of Governor Diaper Palin.
