For many years now, Westwood One has owned the US radio rights to the Olympics. In 30 years of radio, I haven't heard one SECOND of WW1 Olympic coverage on a radio station anywhere I've lived. Anybody in PDX or the NW carrying any of WW1's stuff? Seems like the Olympics might be a natural for satellite radio in the future.... RJ

Can't say I've heard anything either, but most of the reporting is just quick updates - there's very little longform coverage on radio any more. And with NBC getting 40 million hits on its online coverage, I'd think the web - not satellite radio - is the place where you'll get the most Olympic coverage.

carring the olympics on the radio is as boring as a communion service (church) on radio.

Heard an Olympic update on KEX's noon report the other day...short updates on radio is good radio.

Olympic baseball would be fine on radio, as would basketball, hockey, soccer, etc. My frustration is with NBC saying the coverage is live when it actually is not. Sure, it was live for the East and Central time zones, but mountain and pacific get tape delay... and then NBC seems to shoot themselves in the foot by giving updates of scores, etc. when the tape delay hasn't even happened...
