Slashdot's current poll is "What do you listen to the most?" I think we've had this question or at least one of it's derivatives on this board.


I was a bit surprised to see that (at time of posting anyway) a full 1/5 of people still listened to 'regular radio' the most.

Ever since OPB forsook Golden Hours, I have been listening to CDs ("physical media") the most........

...so at the moment I wrote this, that puts me in the seventh percentile; 1454 votes out of reportedly 18417. Well, I am not in the minority but close (i.e., I'm not *completely* unique..... ;o)

Now, if this poll was held before last October, I probably would have been in the minority ("TV music stations"; 74 votes right now!) because "The Tube" was playing constantly on my box/stereo.

I was surprised to see that virtually nobody voted for "TV music stations." I am a little bit out of touch: are music videos a thing of the past? Or, are most people today watching music videos on the Internet and in media players with video capability?

I think the latter is the scene now.
