The most recent info I have (from several years ago) is that Jerry was in Vancouver (WA) doing a video blog and that Rick was in Spokane where had had been hosting a talk show. (until it was phased out along with almost all local talk in Spokane)Anyone have anything newer?

I think Jerry is retired, other than his blog on You Tube.

And Thanks Brade for the information! And I have a site on YOU Tube Do a search for k6tpl or TheDimmitt and you should find it! Also have stuff on the CNN ireporter that is done under the name TheDimmitt

Last time I heard from Rick Miller I think he was working in the Seattle area. Yet that has been awhile back.
Bob Dye from KXL and think we worked together at KKEY or KXYQ wrote me a eMail the other day. So he is still around. Strange how things like what station we worked at fade as I get older. However if a Radio Station has a tower I have most likely been fired from there at one time or another!

Bob Dye started working weekdays in 1977 at KKEY, shortly after beginning on(I believe)Sundays. He replaced Laura Hall on the same day that Lee Evans officially took over for the just deceased Jack Hurd. Rick Miller came along shortly after. The 2 had a bit of a "radio feud" going on. Bob was always disputing Rick's reported age and with good reason: When Rick started, he claimed to be 28 years old and referred to me as a "young enquiring mind" at the age of 24. He returned 10 years later and we were both 34! He was just shy of his 40th birthday when we met. Rick once found out that Bob's all-time favorite was the "Hawaaiian Wedding Song" and decided to sing it for him. I remember Bob having some less than complementary comments regarding the quality of Rick's singing.

I remember Rick Miller being on KGW, also. Was that before or after or in-between KKEY?

Steve Wexler, who had hired Rick at KGW, later hired him at KING-AM in Seattle. I think he also worked briefly at KOMO.....

Rick was on KGA in Spokane a few years ago...5 maybe? Until they changed to syndicated stuff. I heard him there when I was driving up to Milton-Freewater. So, I am thinking 5-6 years ago.

I also heard Ryqqq on KXLY, while driving through Oregon City but it was before that. He seemed to be right in his element and the callers loved him!

Was Oregon City a KXLY sweet spot?

Up the hill, you can barely hear the local 910 so I picked up KXLY just before sunset.

Jerry-You ask is if anyone else has been an iReporter with CNN.

I recently did and it made it all the way to the news desk. They featured my iReport and picture of the late and great Paul Newman. It was when I was at KEX, Paul took me for a 120 m.p.h. adventure around PIR.

They even sent me a gift. I'll definitely look for "TheDimmitt"!
