Tony Coles (pictured) is headed to Chicago as VP of programming and operations of Clear Channel's six-station cluster, and PD of AC WLIT. Coles has spent the past four years in Portland, Ore., as CC regional VP of programming/Northwest, covering Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Utah and Hawaii. He was also OM of CC/Portland and PD of AC KKCW.

Coles replaces Darren Davis, who was recently upped to senior VP of programming, overseeing nearly 150 stations in 24 markets.

"Tony Coles brings over 23 years of experience to the Chicago market," said CC/Chicago president and market manager Earl Jones. "Tony's track record shows solid evidence of creating and managing winning radio stations and programming teams."

Prior to joining Clear Channel four years ago, Coles was PD of Sandusky's KRWM and KLSY/Seattle. His previous programming department stints include WLTW/New York, KBIG/Los Angeles, KXEZ/Los Angeles, WFWI/Ft. Wayne, Ind., and WCOL/Columbus, Ohio.
