For those who care, I just heard on KUFO that they will be playing the brand new Metallica in 2 weeks. I guess the album is all ready to go.
Im not a huge Metallica fan, BUT i am a fan and Im really curious to hear what their new music is going to sound like. When I was in Everyday music the other day, some kids were asking when the new Metallica album was coming out.
I have a feeling the new album will be good, it can't be any worse than "ST Anger". I'm sure its one of the most anticipated albums in a long time. I can just see Pd's all around the country at rock stations, salivating, just waiting to get their paws on the new Metallica single.

I'm a huge Metallica fan and have been since the late 80's when a friend gave me a copied tape of "Master of Puppets". This was about the time they started to get a little bit of traction on MTV with the video "One". St. Anger was a disappointment overall. The thing I disliked the most was the percussion. I'm hoping to hear a more heavy, more 80's Metallica.

I wonder if Kgon will play the new Metallica, if the album is a success? Although I don't think Kgon plays much old Metallica. I would think old Metallica is considered classic rock. Infact I think "The black album" from Metallica is classic rock and if its not, it should be.
