I've seen Clay Aiken on talk shows and he's very charming. He's also talented. But his "look" has evolved into something strange. If he starts gettting plastic surgery a la Michael Jackson, I will become concerned.
(Secret Confession: I bought his last album of 80s covers. Sshh..don't tell. :-)

I'm "concerned" about SparkleWave Sarah. Unless she is a Gramma or a 'tween. Or both.

ICK! I think it's the super-curled eyelashes and mascara. (On Clay Gaikin, of course)

And David Archuleta is right behind...

I am neither a Gramma nor a 'tween, but I'm flattered to have caught your attention, Mrs. Merkin. I always enjoy your posts. :-)
And, point taken, I'll admit my musical taste took a dip for a while there. I think I was also listening to a lot of Celine Dion around that time. But I have recovered and have made the transition back to age-appropriate alternative rock, Top 40, hip-hop and yes, some country, but only the badass chick stuff.

Hey Merkin, Sparklewave needs to be saved. Could Billey Graham help her? No woman should ever be stuck listening to Celine Dion, that is just wrong!

It's a cryin' shame, a terrible tragedy, I tell you!

(Putting hand on her forehead)

"Devil, Come out."

At least she admits she has a problem, and is in recovery. There may still be hope.
Me, I'd rather chew my own ears off.

OK, now who do you consider a badass chick stuff, Sparky?

If you say "Kelly Pickler" or "Jessica Simpson". I'm coming to your house to kick your ass. Hard.

How about Carnie Wilson back in her Wilson Phillips days? She may not be a bad ass chick or have bad ass music BUT she was Huge. She could probably sit on you and suffocate you if provoked.

Justin, do you have a Death Wish?

Because, Son, Aretha and I just might just show up on your doorstep as well. I hope you have a long snorkle or a hose handy!

Your ass is grass and I'm the lawnmower, Baby!

Merkin,
Would you and Aretha like to try my B.M. if you do stop by? Just curious. Just a warning my B.M's do have an odor to them. I can see why the snorkle will be needed.
By the way, I always keep my grass nice and manicured. What can I say, I'm a metrosexual.
Oh, wait a minute, what type of grass are we talking about? I've had way too many B.M.'s today.

This treads title makes me think that Clay Aiken has a vagina! OUCH. He needs to stop doing music immeadietely and stick to what I have heard and read at least that he is actually good at and thats his acting gigs on 30 Rock and on Broadway. Oh yeah and just come out of the closet already! Its not like you won't be embraced.

Im confused why Clay- GAYken doesn't come out of the closet and admit that he is gay. Infact being Gay is so trendy today. Its almost seems that if You're not gay you don't get as much respect. Hell I might even pretend that I'm gay just to get more appreciation or more acceptence. Although purple is not really my color:-)
