"My favourite radio stations in Portland are The Game and K-Hits. What are yours?"

Used to be Golden Hours but then OPB hosed it. It's still around, existing pretty much exclusively in the Internet as I am aware, but nobody's carrying it over the air at the time.

Right now it's Muzak's "Foreground Music One", "Expressions" (it's what they also play at Shari's) and "Environmental" programmes on the satellite boxes.

(Hey, you just asked about our "favourites in Portland". You didn't state whether it had to be terrestrial or not. Besides, their signal covers Portland as well..............

You better keep an eye on me, Fresh. I can be tricky.)

1610? Maybe you're hearing one of the TIS stations playing Donna Fargo records.

I've seen a toy "DJ studio" mixer/transmitter that ran on 1610 - and it put out a pretty good signal for something that ran on 4 "AA" batteries. Maybe that's how the pirates take to the air...

I forgot one more Portland area pirate frequency: 104.5

EDIT--I found a link to a review of the "DJ Studio" toy. http://www.postnewseducation.com/colokids/djradio.html
