Its the same 5 songs every single hour! The variety is AWFUL on 1075. If you look at the playlists of hip hop stations across the country, NONE ARE THIS BAD! I don't get how ANYONE listening at work is going to put up with the same 5 songs played the entire day. Its absolutely ridiculous that a station can get away with this. Jammins ratings could have been so much higher and they should have been, but CBS is completely unprepared and doing an AWFUL job with the music. I guarantee you the ratings would have been so much higher if the playlist was bigger. Im not hating, Im just being honest, CBS needs to improve the playlist on Jammin. There is no way this station is going to last much longer with the playlist like it is. Cbs should just copy Hot 97's playlist If they really want to win in the ratings. Another problem is that they are not playing any of the new music, its the same Akon songs all day. Jammin should be braging about the new music they are playing, because that is their strength, they get all the new hip hop music first. But their is no point in braging when you cant live up to it.

Its called a morning show Motzak, most stations have them. A Morning show is usually on from 5-10 in the morning. So If you're listening between those times you are probably hearing talk.

Lots of guys talking to a beat because they can't sing, with little or no music accompaniment to carry a melody.

Bunsofsteel-- I know very well what a "morning show" is. I used to wake up to the one on KKCW when I was in Junior High (tail-end of the Jacor era.) Take into account that I was only in seventh grade then, didn't yet know better, and as such hadn't yet discovered KOPB. By the way, I work late nights. Of course, scanning the broadcast bands between 8p-2a reveals there's not a morning show to be found on the air at those hours. I posted my snarky response because my view (and the views of others, as it turns out from having mentioned such things in the past) holds that Hiphop is not music. It's more akin to a really extreme poetry reading; kind of like what they used to air on KBOO but way more rhythmic. There.
