A 56-year-old man from the Midwestern US state of Wisconsin has been arrested after shooting his lawn mower in his garden because it would not start.

In the early 1980s, The Dead Kennedys had a song about a very similar incident in Sacramento. In the song, however, the man was fined $50 and released. Putting this guy in jail is a huge waste of taxpayers' money, if you ask me.

The law requires auto body shops to report any damage that looks like bullet holes, so next they'll probably be requiring lawnmower and computer repair shops to do likewise.

Not a lawnmower, but other things.
Just one of the many upsides to living in that small red-neck town! Kind of miss that side of it actually.
