Isn't NYC the only major city thus far that has outlawed trans fats in cooking methods? SO until a federal ban has taken place bring on those artery hardening trans fats! |

To be fair, Starbucks has numerous low fat choices in their pastry case, clearly labeled as such (e.g. low fat coffee cake, several varieties). But for whatever reason, those always seem to be the ones they have excess off. Why do you suppose that is? (I've had the low fat pastries and they are pretty good.) Could it be that Starbucks is selling people the stuff they want to buy, instead of the "low fat" options? |

That's the problem with the salads McDonald's sells. If you look at the fat content, you may as well have the quarter pounder. |
