Well, it looks like Z100 ditched that voice tracked midday woman and now has Kristina LIVE in the middays. Nice Job Z100! Z100 hasn't had a Live midday woman in a long time!
As far as I'm concerened this is the best Z100 has sounded in a long time. Now that they have Kristina Live in the middays, Z100 has an all live air staff during the week.
Again, Nice job z100, its about time! (Kristina sounds AWESOME, by the way)
Hopefully this will force Jammin to get a complete live air staff now that Z100 does!

This is the biggest improvement that station has done in a long time. Their programming has been so half assed for the longest time. At least they are trying to put some effort into the station.

For the longest time I have been saying that Kristina needs to be on the middays. Its about damn time they give her the midday shift. I think she sounds great.

WOW!!! Justin Timberlake....are you sleeping with Kristina or something??? IF you think these guys don't care, you're SOOOO FAR FROM THE TRUTH!!!. Clear Channel has given their stations NO BUDGET to work with. Check the books on the ratings of the shows before you start vomiting at the mouth. The Buckhead show did well and was continuing to grow. If they were still on today, I think they would have great ratings. Shay Shay, although voice tracked had a great personality and some of the highest ratings Z100 has had in the midday slot in several years. Just think if they could afford to have her live. Chase had excellent ratings and a great personality also. Add a live night show, and that would be an ALLSTAR line up. Kristina sounds cool, but not better than any of those personalities I just mentioned. I think she would sound great doing a slow jams show.
As far as being all the airstaff being local, who cares. Just because you are not from Portland does not mean you can't be a great on-air personality in Portland, that sounds like a small market mentality. Although, talent is not what it used to be, Instead of ragging on the talent you should be ragging on these radio companies. They don't want to spend the money for good talent and when they have good talent they limit their creativity by limiting there phones, making them talk about artist info, and pumping the HELL out the website. Buckhead, Shay Shay and Chase are excellent talents, they have TRUE personalties and great creativity, it's to bad they couldn't let loose to show their real skills. These days people think if you have a good voice and decent announcing skills you are a good talent or good enough to just keep music moving and not annoy people. This is SOOOO NOT the case. Please don't get me wrong, I am not hating. I like Kristina and Mick Lee but nothing special about their personalities. Kristina has a nice voice and Mick Lee has the sound but NO personality at all. I can listen to them and not be annoyed, but they don't make me want to tune in everyday. I would want to turn on Buckhead and see what they were talking about in the morning. I would want to hear Shay Shay's funny and crazy opinions about things, she made simple Hollywood news sound interesting and I would want to hear what crazy thing Chase had to say and callers he would put on when he was doing nights.

Radio in general just is not the same even though it has the potential to be better than it ever was.

Buckhead show was AWFUL, plain and simple. Im surprised that show lasted as long as it did. That show consisted of Buckhead talking about how cool he was, Thats it. There was little show content and the show was boring. Im surprised that show lasted as long as it did.
Most of the talent I hear today are very young and I get this whole "Hey look at me I'm cool I'm on the radio" vibe and nothing makes me turn my radio off quicker than that. That was the main problem with the Buckhead show, The whole show revolved around Buckhead saying "Hey look at me., guess who Im dating today, ect ect, when in reality nobody cared.
I am a fan of the new morning show on Z100- John jay and Rich, that is one of the best shows Z100 has had in A LONG TIME! (Seriously) I listened again the other day and was impressed!

In my opinion,the last great talent to leave Z100 was Ck and The Badboy broadcast!

wow ,i did not think anybody listened to that shit they call music on z100, i always pictured the market for this station as 12-17 year olds with no taste

The music is Crap on Z100. but Im not in the demo so I guess there are some women who listen to The Jonas Brothers, btittney spears, and all that other crap they play.
