Has anyone else noticed how painfully horrible the Kim Iverson audio quality sounds? How can an "HD Radio" station justify airing such low quality garbage? During the rest of the day, 105.1's audio sounds amazing! When 7 PM rolls around, I tune elsewhere...

The sound quality may be sub-par, but the show itself is good. Fortunately, most listeners aren't techno-audiophiles -

Yup. I can't stand listening to it. Any PD who lets quality like this hit the air needs to have their stripes yanked off.

Sometimes it's not the PD's choice of the sound quality. At times it can be the conflict of equipment or lack of, or even engineering dropping the ball. I've only had two engineers in my radio lifetime not worth the pop bottles we gave them, but overall, my engineers have always been the wide receivers of my football team when I was captain, ALWAYS ready to go the distance!

As PD you can say 'fix the feed'. If the PD is ok with the sound, bad PD. If the PD doesn't have the power to fix the feed, get a new job. Radio shouldn't sound like limewire.

I don't mind the bad audio at night but I think its a Crime for ANY Radio station to play Matchbox 20 and the Goo Goo Dolls nonstop. Somehow I think those soccer moms have better taste in music than that.

This is probably true of every single song by every single band that's been played on the radio... to someone somewhere, it's their favorite song.

I personally don't like Kid Rock (and never have)... then I met someone who liked his songs. Some of the reasons they liked his music were some of the same reasons I like the music I personally like (but, in some cases, nobody else can stand)!

I know people who happen to like Matchbox 20 and Goo Goo Dolls. They should be able to listen to a decent version of it on the radio should they want to do so.

If Kim Iverson's audio can't be improved, I'd much rather hear automated local programming on 105.1!

JT: 105.1 doesn't actually play very much from Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls, these days.

KINK is your goo goo dolls and matchbox 20 station now, timberfake. Where have you been for the last few years?

If they fix the audio quality of that night show on 105.1, will it also fix Kim's lisp?
