Nick's is worth the effort. I've been in there many times. Its another "Portland Landmark". Way to go Tyler to keep Portland Portland. |

This should be the location for the next PDX Radio get-together. Maybe the Stoner can make a cameo appearance. |

Maybe Stoner could start doing LIVE broadcasts At Nicks Famous Coney Island. He could take the place of the now Defunct Rock and Roll cafe. |

when a oldies station wants to let this old hack do his thing without a music list playing the same 150 songs over & over and allow Dirty Dave & I the freedom to have some fun on the radio. Don't hold your breath! I would have to say the #1 compliment from listeners of the old Kisn show was that they heard songs that never get airplay....Harlow & Minck were smart enough to allow a diet of this on the air and listeners really seemed to enjoy it. |

U gotta wonder about a restaurant that gets the best reviews for the waittresses. Like that old backhanded review of a broadway show -- they left humming the seenery. |

Stopped by again tonight. It was packed. They have a great stereo system in there. It was all Elvis when I was in. Cool. |

Stopped for lunch yesterday...the famous Coneys are incredible. Had a double. The dogs were fresh, hot and had that 'crunch' that really great dogs have. Coney meat was tasty (spicy!) and the shredded cheese and diced onions were fresh and plentiful. |
