A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard, when suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing and stopped, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection. The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell. After several hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said, I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate, the 'What Would Jesus Do?' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car.

If you've a "Choose Life" sticker on your car, the cops will be calling for backup and approach your car with guns drawn.

Bummer. Too bad there are a lot of Nut-Bags around helping to make that a reality every day. It could be better you know. Just don't support the big name asses and the perception surrounding that sticker will improve. Your choice. Joe and Jane Christian are generally not the problem. They are just people, doing what people do. It's those Nut-Bags that take their good intentions and strong desire to live their faith, pervert it, then leverage it for their own goals that cause all the fuss.

WE all are. The trick is to learn and apply that knowledge to better ones self and improve relationships with others, even if you don't agree with them about everything.

That's why people like that are so hung up on religion, they have issues to start with. I've always said, the more they thump the bible, the closer you better watch your back. You know any hotel operator will tell you when it comes to selling x-rated videos in their rooms, the evangelicals are always their best customers.

>>the evangelicals are always their best customers. sadly some of that might be true and they will be accountable via their bill and God knows...I don't turn on the TV there...guess there to sleep and not to kill time behind the tube.
