Great Father's day here.

Our family went and saw my nephew play in a little league championship game on Sunday afternoon. A 7 run come from behind rally gave them the championship.

My dad was in the stands with the rest of his grandchildren along with by brother his wife and myself.

Back home to a family gathering adding my sister and her partner to the mix. Great food and conversation, plus dad had some old letters from an uncle that were over a hundred years old, all in Danish.

The letters talked about my dad's dad about a confirmation he had in Denmark when he was 14 yrs old.

Pretty much a perfect father's day with my dad and our extended family.

We're appreciating every moment with dad. Not sure how long we'll have him. He's 82 and still has lots of energy and stays very busy for a retired old pastor.

He emailed this afternoon and said he was at the cemetery visiting mom's gravesite. Took the camera because you can see Mt. Hood from their.

I think I have shared this before but when people ask my dad how's he doing his answer is "living gratefully."

Sorry about the late entry...had a couple of Father's Day deadlines to meet ( one made, one oh-so-close ) and had to stay away from this computer to get anything done
