So just like OJ, we have another criminal set free. R Kelly should be locked up for life, he is one sick bastard! Not only do they have video of R kelly having sex with a 13 year old girl, but they also have video of him urinating on a 13 year old girl. Who knows how many other 13 year old girls he had sex with, probably quite a few. Back in the mid 90's he married R and b singer Aaliyha and she was not 18. He seemed to love underage women!

This has nothing to do with race folks. It may have had something to do with money or celebrity, but do not shovel that bullshit about skin color. Not one of you would want to be black with so much as a parking ticket in most courts. He was tried by a jury of his peers and found not guilty.

Remember, O.J. Simpson would be in prison right now if overzealous racist cops hadn't planted evidence. He was guilty as hell, but the blatant tampering cast doubt on everything. Bad police work cost the prosecutors the case, not a black defendant.

I was watching Nancy Grace and she was FURIOUS that he was found not guilty. Now granted I'm not a big fan of Nancy Grace, but I had to agree with her, That was R kelly in the Video's. Infact they said they did a close up on the guy in the video and he had the EXACT same tattoo on his back in the exact same place. IT WAS HIM!

It's news when Nancy Grace isn't furious. Even when she talks about something that makes her happy, she looks constantly pissed.

Now, admittedly, she's got a lot to be pissed about from her life and the world. But it has taken a toll on her physical appearance.

I know a jury disagreed, and I'll have to live with that. ( he said, as if he was somehow directly affected by this finding ) They may know much more than I do. In fact, I hope they do. But it sure seems ridiculous that he was found not to be the person in the video. So the jury was actually saying " Nope. It's not him in the video." ? Wow. OK. Short of a confession, then what WOULD it have taken to believe he did it? ) I don't think the authenticity of the video was ever in question ( but I bet the defense attorney floated that out there " Digital enhancements! Photoshop! He was FRAMED! " ). So that leaves " It was someone else in the video."

And what's with the victim denying it as well? That's a kick too. Does that remove any ability to proceed to a civil trial?

Maybe the US Attorney's Office in Chicago will take up the case. I know that there have been cases tried in state courts and when the result wasn't satisfactory to the prosecutor, federal authorities took up the cases. I’m guessing this will depend on whether the federal government has legal standing in the case. As for double jeopardy, for reasons I don’t clearly understand it doesn’t always apply. Don’t ask me why, I’m not a lawyer.
