I hope they are keeping Kristina! She is one of the best talents on Z100 right now. She should get a full time gig on the midday shift! That girl rocks!

This morning show would do better on a station like the Buzz not Z100, which is almost entirely rap. Its a very light non offensive morning show. I don't think its edgey enough for Z100's demo.

If you listen to the audio of that morning show, they keep bragging about how legendary of a station Z100 is. Yet the female callers calling up, are saying that Z100 hasn't been legendary in over 10 years. So even the women calling up have noticed how Z100 has gone down the toilet over the past 10 years. Im not saying it, THEY ARE! They apparently have some die hard listeners in Phoenix, so who knows, maybe this show will work in Portland.

What about those two guys that did the Prime Time Party on KDUK a few years ago. I think they are right up Z's alley.

Listened to the show today on Z100 and I have to admit it was not that bad.I was impressed with what little I heard. Infact this is one of the better morning shows that Z100 has had in a long time. I think the show will give Nelson and Terry a run for their money. Its definetely more entertaining than Nelson and Terry. The Nelson and Terry show has been going downhill for a while now.

I am surprised that no one has yet mentioned the painfully obvious "acting" jobs on many of their phoners. Oh man, these actors and actresses are BAD!!! I have heard certain people (in this biz, in this town)rave about this paid service that provides actors and actresses for your phone bits and I always suspected that they would come across as fake, but I had no idea how awful they really are.

Well guess what "The dude 2" most morning shows, or I should say most Good morning shows do have actors that call up pretending to be listeners. Do you think every one calling up Adam Corolla are real callers. HECK NO!! These are pre planned pre staged bits that are susposed to sound real. Same goes with Stern. I'll be completely honest, after that awful Buckhead show and the completely forgetable T man show, this show is a breath of fresh air. Now I'm not saying its awesome, but Z100 hasn't had a "REAL" morning show in a long time. By the way dude2 are you the board op for that show?? I noticed you posted at 5:33 am.

In my 14+ years of working with, in or around winning morning shows, I have NEVER heard of using fake callers other than maybe impersonators. This blows me away. I'd never fake something that my talent can get me that's genuine and free.

Freeze, If you've ever listened to Howard Stern, you will notice that EVERY time a celebrity or star is being interview on the show there is ALWAYS one caller who calls up and asks a question that is shocking/embarrassing/personal question. This guy is hired on the staff and works for the Howard Stern show, his enite job consists of calling up, pretending to be a listener and asks the shocking/personal questions. Its called SHOCK RADIO and people have been doing this FOR YEARS! Infact I would bet that a majority of the callers that are aired on the Howard Stern show are fake, they are not real listeners. The same probably goes with the new morning show on Z100. As a listner, I would MUCH rather listen to a morning show that is scripted and uses fake callers because usually they are funnier and more entertaining than the usual boring dj banter that goes on for WAY TOO LONG, is not funny, and puts people to sleep. We live in an ADD society, when it comes to morning shows, you have to be funny and you have to get to the point as quickly as possible or you're going to get listener tune out. Kids these days don't have long attention spans, especially when they are in the car listening. If you can't grab their attention in every single talk break with something funny/unusual or entrtaining than You have lost them, and maybe for good. Thats my 2 cents, and its definetely a lot cooler than FITY CENT

The last call center job I had (and the LAST one I'll ever have, God help me), the last thing they did before extending a job offer was three "test" calls, to see how someone might perform on the job. They said right then and there that they used an outside company. I passed the test and took the job. The crazy thing was, after a while, I started to realize that not only were many of the voices the same, but things like catch phrases, voice patterns, etc., started to sound awfully repetitive. Different call/issue every single time, but from the time I took my first actual call until my last, I wondered if many of the calls in which the same-sounding people got pissed off were from the same company.

You miss my point, timberfake. These calls are neither funny, nor entertaining. The acting is really bad and it's obvious they are faked. There is no comparison between the new z100 show and howard stern or adam carolla. Two totally different leagues.

"In my 14+ years of working with, in or around winning morning shows, I have NEVER heard of using fake callers other than maybe impersonators" - I've never worked with, in or around the Stern morning show. I still don't think it's good radio. I'd ask the question myself.
