This morning, I heard a radio commercial for the Barracuda Archiver, a plug & play device that archives every message passing through a corporate e-mail server. The commercial stated that this device helps protect against liability and ensures "government compliance." I can understand how some companies might voluntarily want to archive e-mails in case that they are ever needed for evidence in a lawsuit. What I didn't know is that there are or that there are plans for laws mandating that such archives be kept. It is also my understanding that Microsoft Exchange already comes with this archiving capability.

I wonder if the government knows the true identity of Herb (Milhous Nixon McCarthy Reagan Lewis) and of Digitaldextor?
