Yeah, I know there probably isn't time to get it done. Yeah, I know this means a lot of discussion about things that have already happened, it's a cheap shot, waste of time, you name it, there is some 23 percenter out there willing to work their ass off double over time in an attempt to both marginalize it, and change the subject to something that will have a negative impact on anything that might actually help us out.

So?

So, let's dance right? (Give the guy some respect ok, he's dead now.)

Seriously, this matters. I don't care if it gets done or not. The damage is here and it's gonna take a lot of work to undo and work past or around. (don't know how that all goes just yet.)

This stuff has got to be on record so we can fix it, and so that future attempts will mean accountability will be had.

It appears very likely that we will do this at the ballot box. If so, that's all good.

Getting the crimes on the record will only reinforce that effort, and if it comes at a bad time for the Republicans?

Good.

Their party, their show, their control, their corruption, their sex, their war, their lies, and it goes down hill from there.

One upside is that the number of people using Internet media sources to make political decisions is growing nicely.

The LEFT? What's funny is that YOU Radical EXTRMEISTS on the REICH think America lost? America is winning everyday when you look at DUHbya's approval ratings. America is standing strong a say that they won't take your BULLCRAP anymore.

Given that Richard Nixon won with nearly 60 percent of the popular vote and every state except Massachusetts and the District of Columbia in 1972 presidential election, I guess the decision by the US House Judiciary Committee to vote articles of impeachment against President Nixon in 1974 was “the left” being sore losers.

Nothing sings louder than George W. Bush’s larger than life "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" sign hung aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in May 2003. George W. Bush will eat those words for the rest of this life.

As for President Nixon and his dog King Timahoe, nothing was more contrived than Nixon trying to coax King Timahoe to walk the gauntlet in a White House photo event. Needless to say, King Timahoe was no fan of the 37th president.

Impeached by a do-nothing, kangaroo Congress. As much credibility as John Hagee preaching God is love.

Unlike Mr. Nixon, President William J. Clinton left office after serving two full terms in office as president with an approval rating hovering at 60 percent. Nixon on the other hand hightailed out of DC to California and waited for a pardon. Without President Gerald Ford’s larges, Dick Nixon would have been serving 3 to 5 years in Lompac mowing lawns and peeling potatoes.

Mark my words, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney will set up shop somewhere in the Middle East – as venture capitalists. I can just see it now, a joint venture with an Iraqi oil production/sales firm finishing what they started. Or maybe they'll join the Carlyle Group and get even richer at the expense of the American people. They are both cads, so we shouldn’t expect any less of them.

Speaking of Karl Rove; it'll be nice watching him testify before Congress (if he has the guts to do it). But I'm sure most of his testimony will be a litany of lies, hopefully landing him in jail after Bush is out of office. That'll guarantee he spends at least a year in jail for perjury.

Oh I do.

The traditional media is corporate. It's aligned with whatever the big business lobbies want.

In fact, Ed linked a paper here that demonstrated that nicely. It further demonstrated that the average American leans progressive in many of their core issue positions.

Occasionally, we are seeing some good questions asked and somewhat answered.

Post 9/11, this diminished to the point where I questioned if we even had journalists.

It's still not all that good, but improving here and there.

This story is a case in point. Regardless of what any of us thinks about the idea of impeachment, the articles and testimony to come from Scotty, ARE in fact, news worth reporting on.

We are hearing nothing because we've got a media problem, not that there is nothing to report on.

There is a ton to report on. The contents of the articles IS news to a whole lot of people.

It IS news, because our traditional media has downplayed the cockups of this administration, nearly to the max possible.

And that's news too.

We've got a significant fraction of the country still believing lies. Most of these are regularly debunked, but still we see them from some media sources, over and over and over.

It's no secret that big business is not at all happy with the idea of a more Democratic leaning government. All of those lies only help their buddies, the corporate owned, rubber stamp, Republicans.

Now, if you are plugged in to this crap, there isn't much I can do. Understandable, sorry.

Missing, you're an angry young man. I've run into many of them over the years. Time heals them.

Back to the subject. I really wondered what you thought the media should be reporting, but it's definitely your privilege to decline to comment.

What has happened, as reported by the media, is that Dennis Kucinich filed his articles (or whatever the proper terminology is), the media detailed them, Nancy Polosi said take them away, we're not going to waste time on this stuff. She sent it to a committee that exists to bury this stuff so it never sees the light of day. The media reported this. That's where I learned it.

Now, I'm still curious to know what they haven't reported in your judgment.
