This is brilliant!

And yes, a lot of truth there.

Not sure where this thread is supposed to go, but I have to say I was not happy at the pressure to drug my kids. Ugh..

Instead, we just powered through the stuff, working to get through the issues. Most of them are gone, and sometimes people are just people.

Might not be the "normal" kind of people, but who really cares?

When I used to watch the evening national news 90 percent of the commercials were selling some kind of drug.

I'm on a truckload of supplements and they are doing a great job for some the very aliments these "drugs" are supposed to do.

We tell kids "Don't Do Drugs" and all you have to do is open up the average American's medicine cabinet and you get a different story.

Sad really.

I only use statin drugs as a last resort. The supplements I'm on are food/plant based and have been around in some cases for 5000 years.

As funny as this video is, it's a stark reminder of how drugged up we really are in this country.

True that.

Another thing about this stuff is perspective. Getting good perspective is hard sometimes. Hard enough that it hurts, and when it hurts, it's easier to just treat the pain and hope it goes away.

I wonder what people, who entertain way too much of this crap, will be like when they get old! If life is tough now, man, what will it be like when they are older. Big pharma has it's profits built in for several generations at least.

And people whine about a little pot or booze from time to time. Sheesh.

I'm no prude. Would much rather just take an occasional escape, blow off a lot of steam, then start fresh and battle the usual things with some renewed energy.

This stuff is long term. Most of it comes with dependancy, and it's not even good for a small buzz where a person can burn a little euphoria and feel good about it!

I personally use almost nothing. If something is not right, I try behavior first. Look at my life cycles and see where I'm hosing things up. That works for a lot of stuff. Basic things next, ice, baths, sleep, good food, etc...

Herbals next, but only those I've done the research on. And only for very specific things.

Mild, time tested after that. Old big pharma, proven, cheap, and known.

From there it's actually something that matters, and I'll go and seek some greater treatment, but it's got to have a goal, not just some take these for a while and see if it just doesn't go away.

I can do that on my own, thanks!
