His name is Stevie G. He did evenings on Jammin 95.5 and it looks like he will be doing evenings on Jammin 1075. |

Alexa is now on middays on Jammin 107.5. Looks promising for a full live and local staff! |

Alexa is a Great talent, but Voice tracking her is RETARDED! Hopefuly they will bring Alexa to Portland if she is not live. YOU need to have Live air talent ESPECIALLY on a station like Jammin that relies on High profile air talent. I believe Danner already mentioned that! |

Not likely moving her from LA to Portland. |

One Strike against the new Jammin 1075 for already starting to Voice track on an important day part. Jammin 95.5 NEVER voice tracked their mid-day person! I can already tell this station will sound inferior to Jammin 95.5 and listeners will notice it too, since CBS is starting to cut corners. Plus I still don''t think the music is on the right track! They are not playing as much new music as 95.5 did! If you're running ads claiming that Jammin has moved to 1075 listeners are going to expect the same kind of music, the same type of new music first ect, and the new Jammin is failing to deliver musically! |

The hip hop music scene isn't putting out a ton of new music right now. Sure there are some songs that they should be playing and I'm sure that they will get to it soon. You all must remember that they are still looking to get everything together in terms of management and talent. Give them some time and I'm sure they will sound good. |

Hip Hop is the new "underground" music. There is plenty of it out there, but like the rest of old-guard media, 107.5 won't likely take any chances. I'm going to stick my neck out and agree with those who say Jammin' 107.5 won't last more than a year. They are becoming irrelevant like the rest of the old-guard media. |

And...despite the voice-tracking on heritage Z100, their playlist and depth of older hits from the past 10 years or so is far more enticing to listen to at this stage than the Jammin' 107.5 playlist. |

Being lazy, I'll leave it to the more contentious among you to double check my previous post, but I doubt I referred to middays as one of the important shifts that needed to be live and local on a station like Jammin'. (I believe I mentioned AMDR, PMDR, and nights.) |

Danner saysi n my experience, most radio programmers rate middays as the least important shift for any CHR...(Ok, ahead of overnights). Afternoons and evenings are the priorities for younger formats. |

I hope they bring back the "Throwback Mix" at noon on Jammin 1075. They had this on Jamminn 95.5 and it was awesome! |

I believe Alexa is on Movin in SF. Since it's CBS, makes sense they brought her back, she's great! |

Thanks Legal, with all the drama and changes I had to see what this board was saying. Indeed those were great times at Jammin, a lil bippidy-bip and the creativity was flowin. Beano, you must have just started listening to Jammin after I did afternoons there for about 4 years with Careezy. |

Frozen One, one of my favorite stories of you working up here was one of your first nights, I drove you to Taco Bell on Burnside about 2am. No cabs would come pick you up. |

I think Ebro is a key ingredient that is mising from The Playhouse. It was more of a smarter show, When the Playhouse had "Ebro". They actually discussed issues ect. Im geting tired of the show revolving around how dumb Duryan is. |
