Well, I am just going to put in a bet right now that we'll have a pretty decent Ind.......errr, Native American summer lasting well into the end of October. I'm not a Weatherman, but I do like to gamble on it occasionally.

I may have reservations about that later on, tho.........

I was out riding yesterday and today. (Actually have two and a half weeks' worth of vacation time that I am using right now.) 'Twould seem like an absolute waste of a pre-summer day not to dig the bikes and quad out of storage!!

Record temps aside, this type of weather is not abnormal. It is normal to get a warm streak in May but it will cool down again towards the normal Memorial Day (May 30), and through most of Rose Festival. I remember pouring a concrete patio one Memorial Day weekend in the 70's that was near 100. I also remember doing a Rose Festival Parade coverage in the early 70's when it was 90+, also. Had to be inside the truck. Try rolling up all that camera cable we used to use on those TK44's on remotes in the hot sun. At least they weren't 42's.
Now they can put all signals on lightweight fiber.
