It looks like Charlie has just added a new feature to their station. Starting every Saturday night from 7pm-12am they will be having the Saturday night Boogie party. Please tell me they are going to be having a LIVE jock on the Boogie Party!

Well, Charlie certainly needs to do something. They've almost become invisible. I see they've got bus ads up too.

Charlie NEEDS to add more LIVE air talent, the lack of air talent is going to hurt them. The wnole Juke Box idea has ran its course. Time to get some talent on that station!

I see they've got bus ads up too. The transit ads (on buses, shelters) appear to be the same as the ones after the station launch, since they say "The NEW 97.1 Charlie FM" on them. EDIT after 7 PM So I'm listening to their new "Saturday Night Boogie Party" programming... "Feels Good" followed by "Summer in the City," two commercials, then Nirvana's "Come As You Are" and "Stray Cat Strut..." sounds like they're still playing "everything" if you ask me. Oh, unless I've missed something they've taken the currently playing songs off the website.
