Since the Blazers only have .6% chance of the ping pong ball bouncing their way, it doesn't look like they'll be agonizing over the #1 pick again.

But, you gotta have hope. Oh, the audacity of hope.

I dont. I think Clinton takes oregon.

As for the blazers, I expect them to get the number 5 or 6 spot.

The Seaklahoma Soonersonics might get another top three pick, but the Blazers would need a "Knicks Miracle" to score #1 two years running.

Doubtful. Other than this board, most everybody I know is going for Clinton if they're voting. Not really scientific, but I don't see a big Obama win.

If you average the polls, it's 14 points for Obama.

Everyone I know is voting for Obama over Clinton. But that's because I run in a smart crowd.

I'll stand by my prediction and look forward to the tally.

Duh, well, us dumbbells are always picking losers anyway. Al Gore, loser. John Kerry, loser. I'll have to vote for McCain in November if I want keep my losing streak alive.

Which is probably why you should ignore the polls and go with Clinton. The obvious choice for the Dems is always the wrong one.

Personally I dont care who wins, They are all liars and crooks

Personally, I am glad that nothing has been decided. Who would ever imagine that the Oregon Primary would matter. Historically, it's always long over by now. Hope the turnout is HUGE and more representative of the population. It sucks when the winner gets 52 percent or more, but less than 40 percent of those eligible actually bother to vote.

The Blazers wind up in the top 5.

Tuesday will be Clinton's last stand.

Sam Adams is forced to go through a run-off in November.

Obama will win. It's time for my candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton, to throw in the towel. It's been a good fight, but it's time for Senator Obama to launch an all out attack on the Republicans. John McCain and George W. Bush have already impugned Senator Obama’s integrity by calling him weak on defense issues, so it’s time to fight back with both barrels. Obama has to be prepared for everything and the kitchen sink. My guess is that it’s going to get very nasty with the GOP Dirty Tricks Machine using everything in its arsenal, including race baiting taken nationwide. It’ll be a play on Nixon’s southern strategy. Nothing but fear and loathing from the Republicans this fall, guaranteed. I mean look at their record, they don’t have a single success on which to hang their hat. George W. Bush is the worst president in modern history, and McCain lacks any sort of excitement. He’s a boring as watching paint dry, with a nasty temper to boot.

Sam Adams will win, as will Nick Fish. During the last mayoral election cycle, people seemed really excited about supporting Tom Potter. There were lawn signs everywhere. This election pales in comparison. Adams did a very good job of getting his name in the newspaper, on television and on radio during his current term as city councilman. It seemed like every other day he was on television promoting new initiatives. And too, he did come out and quickly address the aerial tram issue. I still think it sinks, but he was much more forthcoming than Erik Sten about the Water Bureau disaster. With that said, Adams is going to have to find a way to target old problems; Portland is a city in need of some serious infrastructure fixes. And getting money from the state or feds to partially fund expensive projects isn’t like the old days. Bring back federal revenue sharing!!!

I'm voting for Hillary because I don't think Obama can win against the Republican attack machine and their pals in talk radio and 527's. Obama will be destroyed. It has already started. Some of the internet rumors are awful. Still, some will believe them. Don't forget. Racism still exists in this country as well

This is a good reason for voting Hillary. We KNOW Hillary will withstand ANYTHING the GOP throws at her. I just hope Obama is tough enough as well.

Perhaps Obama may consider her for the "attack dog" role (the VP slot).

Number One Pick talks about His Number One Pick

2/26/2008

We are all citizens of this great country and I know I'm putting in my one vote. I know it's just one small vote, but it's big to me.

If the person I vote for wins it's gonna be because of my one little vote, at least that's what I'm gonna think. I think everyone should think that way.

This will be my first presidential election to participate in as a voter and I hope that you younger voters will get involved. I think that our votes can really influence the outcome.

So go out, register and vote for who you think is the best candidate to be the best leader for this country and make sure you and your family will feel good about the new president that is elected in November.

" This is a good reason for voting Hillary. We KNOW Hillary will withstand ANYTHING the GOP throws at her. I just hope Obama is tough enough as well. "

I agree. That's a good reason. But for me, this time around, it's not a good enough reason. I do not want a candidate that can show his or her chops about getting mired in the muck and getting down and dirty and somehow making that a point to which I use to decide for whom to vote. I want someone who will call it what it is " bullshit " and blow it off. There are plenty of reasons to judge a candidate's ability to reason, defend or support without having to resort to " how did they do when swift-boated? "

Obama will do that for me.

Obama will get more votes in the general election than Hillary would. Obama is our best candidate, hands down. The people that fall for the propaganda won't be needed to win. Yes, they exist, but they are a minority.

Besides, I'm dog tired of the past and ready for someone closer to my age to be in charge of things. McCain is too fuckin' old and too much the same. It's time for the 55+ crowd to retire and go somewhere warm.
