Any news on Eugene's 97.9FM move-in transmitter to the Portland area? Who is the owner of the station? How soon will this move occur?

I don't have any juicy news on the move, but the last few times that I have been in SE Portland, I have noticed that KRRC is off the air. My last visit to that area was yesterday evening.

The May issue of "FMedia!" reports: Tualatin OR 97.9 MHz with 260 watts at 470 meters, Class A downgrade, 28 km, as it moves from Eugene to the Portland market. Fate of KRRC Portland is unknown. ________________________________________________________________ Here's what's been going on as reported by the FCC: REPORT NO. 26728 BROADCAST APPLICATIONS 05/02/2008 FM STATION APPLICATIONS FOR MINOR CHANGE TO A LICENSED FACILITY PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------- OR BPH-20070119AFH KNRQ-FM 12501 CUMULUS LICENSING LLC Minor change in licensed facilities. There are 2 scenarios here: One would have KNRQ Eugene moving to Tualatin as a Class A with an application for C2 by moving KACI The Dalles and a construction permit in Condon to different frequencies. The other would involve MB 05-10, which would move KACI to Tualatin as a C2, KNRQ to 107.9, KHPE to 103.7 and KXPC out of the area completely. Option 1 is dependent on the final resolution of option 2, which is under reconsideration after being well on the way to meeting the objections that refused it, in the first place. The only difference for us is who will own the station in Tualatin.
