"'Todd Shaw, a University of South Carolina political science professor, agreed, citing a groundswell of African-American disenchantment with both Bill and Hillary Clinton. They're particularly annoyed by Bill Clinton's performance during the South Carolina primary and by Clinton supporter James Carville's description of New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, a Latino, as "Judas" for endorsing Obama over Hillary Clinton.

"The comment plays very badly with African-Americans and Latinos," Shaw said. "They remind them of 'Look what we've done for you; you should stay in line.' That doesn't sit well with voters of color. They view it as Northern machine politics or Old South boss politics."

Hunter Bacot, an associate professor of political science at Elon University in North Carolina, saw another piece of political history haunting black Obama backers. "There's a sentiment among blacks that they've been taken for granted by the Democratic Party," Bacot said. "If Obama loses, it's as though their candidate's victory was overturned.'"

Obama has already won. It's over. Hillary is just playing out the clock because she's stubborn. It is statistically impossible for her to win.

I agree it may be over.

But Hillary is working her scorched earth policy to the detriment of her party.

True to Clinton form, it's all about her.

Hillary will be shown the door by the party elders when one of the following conditions are met:

1. She loses both elections next Tuesday by any margin.

2. She loses one election next Tuesday and within about a week after that sufficient superdelegates pledge to Obama to provide a mathematical impossibilty to gain enough pledge+super delegates to win.

3. Regardless of next Tuesday's election, enough superdelegates pledge to Obama to make it impossible for her to win. If she somehow wins both states on Tuesday, this option may not materialize until the second week in June.

Even though Hillary may be pressured into stepping down, she will probably not do it until the second week in June anyway, since she is probably too stubborn to give up when all the votes are yet tallied. I think it's one more month personally, but I do think she will start getting nudged by the party biggies sooner than that.

3.

Herb did not say one thing about Bill Clinton in this topic.

Hell, most topics you accuse him of doing that he has not done it.

Marvin......
He bashes Clinton at every turn and the man has been out of office for 7 1/2 years. He bashed him while he was in office as well. 15 LONG years.
If it's a SIN to bash the WPE then let me burn in HELL! DUHbya is STILL the sitting Resident IN CHARGE. It's American to bash someone that's doing a piss poor job! It's Patriotic! At least it was when THEY were bashing Clinton for 7 1/2 years.
