I don't even know what that means. I'm going to bet that " Fellow Travelers " are an organization that was part of the culture of the 1950's.(?) And it was probably that era's " boogy man " of which some just can't let go. Always gotta have a boogy man, according to my Grandpa.

Man, I cannot wait until this culture of fear becomes even less influential.

Then again, maybe Fellow Travelers are just dirty hippies or Reefer Madness extras.

"I can't wait for him to suggest a comparison between himself and Joseph R. McCarthy."

Aw, I'm not worthy to have tied Mr. McCarthy's shoes. Now THERE was a true American.

John Hawkins: Now I heard that you wrote an impassioned defense of tailgunner Joe in the book. Is that the case? If so, why do you think Joe McCarthy has gotten a bad rap?

Ann Coulter: I know he got a bad rap because there are no monuments to Joe McCarthy. Liberals had to destroy McCarthy because he exposed the entire liberal establishment as having sheltered Soviet spies.

John Hawkins: Despite the fact that Communism has been a blight on the world that eclipsed even Nazism, why do you think so many people on the left even today see no problem marching at a rally organized by Communists or supporting Communist regimes like Castro's Cuba?

Ann Coulter: Communism is like vegetarianism in that it's actually not very healthy for most people but leftists continue to defend it because it seems like the thing to do.

Please, Herb - allow me:

I have no problem with the Constitution, but I do have problems with those that would defend an ideology that seeks to destroy the birthplace of constitutional democracy.

As another great American once said, "I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice!"

To Herb and Deane_johnson:

Why not give us a day? Lord knows we work ourselves into an early grave so our bosses can walk away rich and we walk away, no wait we don't walk away we just stay on the middle class treadmill staying in the same place. Don't tell me about your family values when you bash on the worker.

What the average worker faces today. Inflation is rendering the US dollar less attractive as a global currency, slashing its purchasing value at home. Jobs continue to leave in droves without ample replacements. Food and energy prices are rising at their fastest rates in 35 years. Health care is becoming a purview of the wealthy. Post high school education, which should be a free to anyone at any point in their lifetime, is becoming prohibitively expensive. I pray that Americans do the right, moral and honorable thing and elect political leadership not rooted in jingoistic fervor but a message which speaks the TRUTH.

I’ve always felt that lawyer’s have done more to muck up the system than any other occupation in the history of the republic. Most lawyers do little to create but rather make things more complicated. It would be nice to see a person of merit without a law license reach the highest echelons of government. From time to time it happens, but then partisanship takes over and practicality flies out the window. Both sides are guilty of this and in the end, we the people suffer.

"Don't tell me about your family values when you bash on the [socialist] worker."

Read your history about the IWW, wobblies and the hard core left. May Day is all about socialism and promoted by commie front groups.

Wanna honour the worker, whilst avoiding the outright pinkoism? Then celebrate Labour Day.
