KKMO has a music format on an AM without full market coverage. In addition, some of their fringe signal will virtually disappear in the near future, when KRKO raises power. If they can get nearly $3.7 million now, I'd go for it. |

I believe the folks who bought the station are quite familiar with Bustos since the guy who bought it does some programming in San Jose a market Bustos is in. They may have worked a deal where now Bustos will buy El Rey and then package one or two of his AMs to either Salem or the guy that bought KKMO. Its a behind the closed door type deal. |

The group(ALTA)that finances Bustos is a part of the same group that is moving 104.5, The Dalles, up to Covington, WA |

Semoochie is probably correct. The additional reason that Bustos would be happy with above possibilities.... They would own the Seattle market and the Portland Spanish radio market. |
