Since I have not heard Larson talk about this issue, I have a question: in what context does Larson talk about smuggling tobacco products? Is he saying that if you go to Canada and some Cuban cigars mysteriously slip into your luggage, nobody should be the wiser? Or is he actually supporting organized smuggling operations that turn around and re-sell the tobacco products at full price (I tend to doubt this)?

Lars does a lot of things, but supporting terrorists isn't one of them.

He might do it out of ignorance, but not intent.
