As I've been saying, the electoral map favors the Democrats.

This election won't be decided until it's over. Both Obama and Hillary carry major negatives among various elements which could allow McCain to win by default. The traditional analogies of the electoral process are going to be a bit flawed.

"This election won't be decided until it's over."

Duh.

" Both Obama and Hillary carry major negatives among various elements which could allow McCain to win by default."

As if! McCain's negatives have driven thousands of Republicans from the party. Much more so than the reverse.

" The traditional analogies of the electoral process are going to be a bit flawed."

Not really. No more flawed than always. Prognostication is in itself a flawed non-science that has always been more about rhetoric than fact. Think about this: If McSame is currently holding even within margin errors in polling against either Hillary or Obie, when the Democratic nominee is in place, it is more than likely that he will fall behind in the polling as the Dems regroup.

I'm a numbers guy, and I think the numbers pose a very serious challenge to McCain. I think most conservatives are in denial of the math.
