I don't know! There are people that said things to me, when I was a kid --powerful things. I kind of recorded them and played them back over the years, letting life experience tease out what they were trying to say. Those things kind of stick with me. If they don't click right away, they just kind of float around in there, never resting, until closed. Gotta have them for dinner! Close the loop, find out if they were meaning that, or if it was just lucky. I would like to talk to a couple of powerful people for perspective. I know some, but they are not really elite. World leaders, business leaders, etc... Gotta have some culture too. Maybe mix it up with the powerful ones. Culture differences would likely reveal what power and influence really is. I don't think that's possible without factoring out culture. Religious leaders too. Or at least one! My childhood friend Chris. We grew up together. His parents were not the best, nor were mine. We spent many a night and long day, just figuring out life! (and blowing things up --big things some times...) We both entered into the military. Me, National Guard. Him? Marines. We both decided to let it lie until we could share some time... Would be great to compare notes on how it all has gone so far. That's it for living people. Dead people... Einstein, any one of many great classical composers, a King from old, Greek Philosophers, too many to choose... How about we go for a weekend party instead?

Edit: Okay, I added Wikipedia links to each of the names to jog your memory. Mel Blanc needs no introduction. Paul Frees, voice of the Disneyland Haunted House, the original Pillsbury Dough boy, and just about everything in between. Peter Thomas, a voice for serious narration heard absolutely everywhere, probably more than the rest of the group put together, with the possible exception of Paul Frees. There is an audio link at the bottom of the page of his Wikipedia entry, but don't let the commercial at the beginning of the file, which is voiced by someone else, fool you. Mason Adams was the voice of "With a name like Smucker's, it has to be good!" until his death in 2005. Orson Welles needs no introduction. Alan Reed AKA, Fred Flintstone. Jean Vanderpyl, voice of Wilma and Pebbles Flintstone. Bea Benaderet, The original Betty Rubble (first four seasons) and "Granny" on Tweety Bird cartoons. Daws Butler voiced many cartoon characters including Elroy Jetson and Huckleberry Hound. Clarence Nash spent much of his career voicing Disney cartoons. He was the voice of Donald Duck I don't know what we'd talk about but it would be great listening to all that voice talent in one room!

I'd invite Herb to dinner just to see if he's really for real. Also, Churchill to hear his stories The three people who were most influential in authoring the constitution to see if Herb's right and they meant for all this religion in government Jesus, to get his reaction on the 21st century and everything that's happening. I just don't believe he would say our foreign policy and making the rich richer are the right things. Bill and Hillary Clinton. One because I admire the Clintons and two I'm going to sit Herb between them. No check that, I'll put Herb between Bill and Jesus, so Jesus can set him straight. FDR, just because I'd like to pick his brain. Einstein, same reason.
