China Grove was brought up in another thread on best songs to ramp up too. So what would be a great cold start song segue coming out of China Grove?

And feel free to share others.

KYTE at that time did the top-of-the-hour legal ID over a uptempo power oldie (like China Grove). The second song of the hour was a hot current category. Jocks at that time picked their own music following the music clock categories. Here is the rest of that Ron Leonard aircheck if you want to hear what song Ron used out of China Grove.

China Grove into Frankenstein!!! Oh man...I can almost visualize it in my mind. I see the board, the carts and sec tone going off.

Ah man what a feeling.

One of my fab faves was coming timely out of Heart's "Baraccuda" into "Good Times, Bad Times" by LZ. There are soooo many, but haven't we been told that nobody gives a rat's patooty but us? Any other old KINK'ers remember the internal "Segue for Lunch"? Ultimately responsible for some of the worst "train wrecks" ever executed. But hey....ya scored a free lunch with the P.D. if ya won the week! C'mon Alan,& Jeffrey....should we tell them what we REALLY used to call it?
