Bill William Savage, who traveled the world during his professional wrestling career as "Wild Bill Savage" and the masked "Cyclops" died Saturday. He was 77.
"He was a big star during his days in the 1950's and 60's," said Dean Silverstone, a former professional wrestling promoter who knew Savage as a friend and business associate.

I don't believe so. Dutch's real name is Frank Stewart. Bill's original last name is Faynik.

Wild Bill Savage worked in Texas, the west coast and Pacific Northwest from 1952 until 1968. He was the referee for Don Owen after he retired for approximately six years. Read more about Savage from the Wrestling News Center:
